Tisbe Copepods

Tisbe Copepods are a live cultured copepod well suited for reefkeepers who want to support biodiversity, seed refugiums, and build longer-term pod presence in protected areas of the system.

Tisbe are a smaller benthic copepod that tend to spend more time in rockwork, substrate, macroalgae, and other lower-exposure areas of the tank.

Best for:

• refugiums
• biodiversity support
• rockwork and substrate zones
• longer-term pod establishment

How to use:

• shut off the return pump
• wait for the overflow to stop draining
• add the copepods to the display tank or refugium
• leave the return pump off for about 10 to 15 minutes
• restart the system

For best results, add them when fish are less active and target a lower-flow area when possible.
